Tonight I went bowling with some colleagues. One of our technical services guys, an immigrant from the Philippines, had never bowled in his life. He was a total natural! He ended up with the most points out of any of us. He totally blew us away and won an iPod.
My friend Steve made an excellent observation. This bowling legend in-the-making is one of those guys who can see something for the...

that i always choose the same seat on the bus if i have a choice?

There’s definitely a dude who wears a Santa suit and a sandwich board, advertising sales for either the “Sears” or the nearby car-rental place on my route to the University.
The bus drives by too fast for me to get over my amazement and read the sign.

I’m going to be cultivating my facial hair once again. When the 2nd semester starts, I’m going to show all those hardcore nerds that I don’t fuck around. Nothing strikes more fear into the hearts of weak than a monstrous beard.
He’s right, you know.
